My work utilises techniques such as Verre Églomisé,
a process of applying both a design and gold leaf onto the rear face of glass. I use this technique to create both traditional typographic signs and geometric illustrations.
Depending on the individual piece I may hand paint the artwork, to give a traditional finish with enamel paints, alongside, Mother of Pearl, copper and silver. When the design is more intricate, I work it up on a computer, expose it on a silk screen and then use enamel inks to screen print directly on to glass.
